I am looking for a visitor to a pre-k classroom the theme is uses of water-chicago area?
I am lookking for someone to do a presentation or activity in the chicago area. The topic or theme of the class is uses of water and the age range is pre-k
I don't live in the Chicago area...I'm over in Pennsylvania, but I would imagine that you could find somebody in the same field/agency. I would definatly look up your local state parks in the area and see if they have an environmental education specialist who could come and talk to your class about water. If they would not be able to do it, they should at least be able to direct you to your regional office of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) or the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) who would then certainly be able to find someone to come talk about water.
